The UK journalists have awarded the BMW 3 Series Sedan and Convertible the title of “Best Compact Executive Car and Convertible”. Judged by a panel of motoring experts, the highest-volume seller BMW vehicle have received these awards due to their superior dynamics, sharp handling and balance.
Referring to the 3 Series Sedan/Saloon, Auto Express journalists said: “BMW’s superior dynamics won the day. A model range that includes everything from a diesel variant capable of 62.8mpg to the supercar-chasing 414bhp M3 is unbeatable.”
The Convertible model received equally high praises from the same UK journalists: “The standard 3 Series is famed for its sharp handling rear-wheel-drive chassis and the Convertible is no different. It leaves the competition trailing with its agility, grip and balance, while the engine range includes BMW’s potent petrol and diesel units”.
